ABOUT GF COFFEE

Ganda foundation seeks to empower women coffee farmers in Bukalasi, Bumayoka and Bushyi sub counties in Bududa on Mount Elgon in Eastern Uganda. Their household livelihoods have been devastated by the rampant landslides, volatile and low coffee prices, as well as declining farm productivity.

The Foundation in partnership with Sipi Falls Coffee Ltd is engaging the women in the production of coffee for international markets to raise incomes, build assets, increase resilience to shocks and ultimately provide these smallholder farmers pathways out of poverty. Our team works closely with Arabica Coffee growing families in Uganda to fulfil the potential of the coffee they grow. We are Committed to promoting high-quality coffee production using ecological, climate-smart, sustainable farming practices in order to protect the environment that we all depend on.
