History

In 2009, the Ganda Boys created the Ganda Foundation a UK-based charity (UK Charitable Registration Number: 1158040) whose mission is to deliver direct aid to hospitals, schools and refugee asylums in Uganda, where displaced migrants from the surrounding war-torn countries of Sudan and the DRC have been welcomed with open arms. The need is great; while Uganda has been a safe haven for thousands of people, the country struggles

to provide basic standards of healthcare and education to this growing population. The Ganda Foundation uses money raised through events, album and ticket sales at Ganda Boys concerts and by direct donations to its website, to provide sustainable assistance directly where it is needed, empowering communities and bringing messages of peace and hope from around the world.

The Ganda Foundation’s public profile in Uganda received a dynamic boost with a national fund-raising concert in Kampala in the presence of the Queen of Buganda, the Nnabagereka, Sylvia Nagginda in April 2013. Read more:
